I feel we are at some sort of inflection point with regards to false narratives the population has been fed over the last three years.
While pondering on this I was trying to think of a relevant famous quote related to tides. Unfortunately, most of my English literature knowledge goes back to what I learnt at school. One that came to mind for me was ‘There Is a Tide in the Affairs of Men’ speech by Brutus in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. But that’s not quite the right one.
After searching I came across this one by Warren Buffet, which is:
Only when the tide goes out do you learn who has been swimming naked.
Not exactly Shakespeare, but it does seem that the tide is receding, and we shouldn’t be surprised with what starts appearing.
Australian Senate Hearing Last Week
At an Australian Senate Estimates committee meeting last week, Senator Gerard Rennick questions the “Regulator” of the Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR), Dr Raj Bhula.
From the regulators website: The current Regulator is Dr Raj Bhula. She has over 20 years’ experience in the regulation of pesticides in Australia.
She is clearly qualified to be the regulator of poisons introduced into Australia.
Listen to the interaction with Senator Rennick in the short 3 minute video in this tweet below:
I wonder what body language experts would take from the arms crossed, defensive pose? Follow up tweet here:
We learn from “the Regulator” that apparently in Australia they don’t have to check for products manufactured overseas, but that transfect people in Australia!
Really?
The obvious question is then why did they check AstraZeneca? Was it manufactured in Australia?
Hmmm…
Both lawyer Julian Gillespie:
and Dr Ah Kahn Sayed:
have written articles about this yesterday, where you can go into the details. Julian notes this revelation from the OGTR will be added to their brief of evidence in the criminal case. Note: see the clarification in Julian’s article re manufacture of AstraZeneca.
I have written about the current case before the courts, asserting that the companies responsible for mRNA technology in vaccines should have applied to the OGTR prior to seeking approval from the TGA. Not doing this is a potentially criminal offense.
The Regulator’s answers in the Senate exchange are astounding.
The inference is that in Australia we can buy any genetically modifying sh*t from overseas and the regulators will wave it through. Perhaps she is cunningly trying to deflect responsibility to the TGA? Looking at the body language it appears something is amiss.
Or perhaps telling lies on top of lies tends to get one trapped.
This revelation makes it clear that it is so important that the court case gets heard, irrespective of what the outcome is. Perhaps it is true that according to the “rules” there was no responsibility to check. The public needs to know this.
Conflicts of Interest
This week I randomly came across this article in the medtech news, from back in 2021, which caught my attention.
One of the experts, the US Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, who we always see smartly dressed in his military uniform, has been a strong advocate for vaccine mandates. Vivek Murthy has been the 19th and 21st surgeon general. As I understand it, he was stood down by Trump and put on again by Biden.
From the article:
Over the weekend, Dan Diamond for the Washington Post reported that Vivek Murthy, MD, nominated for Surgeon General and to help the Biden COVID-19 response, received 2.6 million dollars in pandemic consulting fees and speaking engagements since January 2020. Murthy received $400,000 from Carnival cruise lines for consulting, over $400,000 in cash and another $400,000 worth of stock from Airbnb, nearly $300,000 from Estee Lauder, and $600,000 from Netflix.
That’s right he received $2.6M in consulting fees, while people were losing their jobs. As Prasad points out he wasn’t paid for his technical expertise to do work for these organisations. He was paid for influence.
Apparently, Vinay Prasad feels so strongly about this topic, when he gives talks with pharmaceutical company involvement, he refuses all fees. He takes his own thermos of coffee! That sort of seems like “virtue signalling” but it has got to that point that it is arguably necessary.
Our Former TGA Head
On the home front we have no shortage of those making the most of their position of authority.
AusBiotech is an Australian organisation I used to be a member of when I was primarily working in medical devices technology. I still get the emails. The annual conference is on this week in Brisbane.
John Skerritt, recently “retired”, former head of the TGA, is the keynote speaker:
Despite retirement, he remains actively engaged on national and international boards, notably advising on the establishment of Australia's mRNA vaccines and medicines industry.
I upload the contents of the promotion here.
He is “notably advising” … Good for him. I suspect he is not taking his own thermos of coffee.
I wonder if there will be any sessions on the safety of the technology at the conference? Sadly, probably not.
We know Professor Skerritt from previous Senate Estimates meetings where he told Senator Rennick the Lipid Nanoparticles used to deliver the mRNA (which we now know distribute all over the body) were like “sausage fat”!
This revelation has put me off eating sausages, probably for the rest of my life.
Strangely the catchphrase of Ausbiotech is:
Advancing Biotech – It’s in our DNA
Well, it seems there might be other stuff that has crept into our DNA that we don’t want, thanks to our “Regulators”.
While I’m Thinking About Quotes
On Father Dave’s online service yesterday, he had a guest, John, who is a human rights advocate who was targeted by the government in Sri Lanka. He came to Australia with his family as a refugee. He has worked here as an advocate for asylum seekers.
See a nice chat with him, for a few minutes near the end, from the 56 minute mark.
He is at retirement age, but he can’t accept that his work is finished after 50 years of ministry. John relates how his family was worried about his health with how hard he was working. He uses the expression:
Once you put your hand to the plough you can’t take your hands off.
It resonated with me about how we can’t give up on certain causes. In our visit to parliament with the AMPS delegation, I learnt of so many causes that need addressing, where politics acts as a handbrake to any progress.
John asks himself: “will he stop?”
My learned friend Father Dave jokes and reminds him of the days Old Testament reading, that Moses was 100 years old and he still hadn’t slowed down!
I had to look up the origin of the plough quote John used. It comes from one of the leaders of the suffragette movement, Alice Paul:
When you put your hand to the plow, you can't put it down until you get to the end of the row.
Alice Paul is credited as one of the leading figures responsible for the passage of the 19th Amendment (woman suffrage) to the U.S. Constitution. In her honour, the Equal Rights Amendment was sometimes called the Alice Paul Amendment.
Dear Readers
Things are appearing, as the tide is receding.
So many of you have been working for just causes, apart from addressing harmful COVID responses from authorities. It seems apt to keep:
“your hands to the plow, you can't put it down until you get to the end of the row."
Lots of good points thanks Andrew. There is no shortage of valuable info available to dismantle the lies and false narratives. Those Senate Estimates committee meetings are entertaining but also deflating to watch as gov't department staff dodge so many pointed pertinent questions from Senators Gerard Rennick and Malcolm Roberts. The latest mtg has them totally avoiding answering why there are so many excess deaths in 2022 and also denying even a temporal correlation between the gene therapy and a peak in excess deaths when a graph is tabled indicating the opposite.
Finally, Father Dave might have formed his quote ("Once you put your hand to the plough you can’t take your hands off.") after considering the Bible verse at Luke 9:62 "But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God." (NKJV)
[as an aside that verse led me to wonder why Jesus would teach a works based salvation contrary to the rest of scripture but upon finding the following commentary the explanation makes sense. https://escapetoreality.org/2014/11/20/luke-9v62-plow/ ]
