Visit of Drs Peter McCullough and Pierre Kory to Australia

Drs Peter McCullough and Pierre Kory finished their speaking tour in Australia with an event in Sydney yesterday evening. I was fortunate to be able to attend with my wife and friends. There was so much interest you had to line up early to get best seats.

We sat in the nosebleed section.

A highlight of the evening for me was the first talk of the evening by Australian doctor Melissa McCann. I wasn’t familiar with her work. She is a General Practitioner from Queensland. A number of doctors in Queensland have been a credit to our nation.

She saw the safety signal early on and has been tirelessly working on looking after injured patients and questioning the Australian Therapeutic Goods Association (TGA) on safety.

Australian Regulators Concealed Fatal Vaccine-Induced Myocarditis from the Public

The TGA states that a total of 14 deaths are linked to vaccination. The vaccines are safe and effective.

As of 4 Feb 2023 there are 964 reported deaths from COVID vaccines in the Database of Adverse Event Notifications (DAEN). Of those deaths only 14 are attributed to COVID vaccines by the TGA. These are mainly related to thrombocytopenia from AstraZeneca (13). One case of death is related to myocarditis in a young woman in her 20's from a booster dose of the Moderna Vaccine.

Dr McCann has questioned the TGA on deaths reported following vaccination, particularly of young people. She has made numerous Freedom of Information (FOI) requests to the TGA. As I understood from her talk the TGA provided redacted information in response to her requests but that this was not released on the public disclosure log. The reasoning of the TGA is that it could cause “hesitancy”.

This is alarming.

A young person’s death closely following injection demands detailed investigation. She showed some of the redacted reports from the committee assigned to investigate the reported deaths. Many of these reports had a conclusion of “causal”.

One of the deaths of young people was 23 year old Caitlin Gotze. I referred to her mother’s testimony in a senate inquiry in one of my early posts here

Other information on Caitlin’s sad death is found here and here. The death of these young people, as a direct result of government or workplace mandates, needs to be investigated and those responsible held accountable.

A colleague, Dr Luke McLindon, another of our great Queensland doctors, recently referred me to a research article on this study in Nature Communications from Qatar. This seems to be the only study where a serious investigation has been done to investigate deaths closely following recent injection. The researchers had access to date of death and date of last injection. This is data we do not have available to the public in Australia (and I suspect all other countries). I note Qatar was mainly mRNA injection and it has a very different population profile to other countries with a large male, working age, immigrant population.

From the paper this is the rationale they used:

Those with no underlying conditions and no plausible risk factor for death noted in the medical records or identified by reviewers were further sub-classified based on time of death from last SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Deaths occurring within 5 days of vaccination were classified as having high probability, deaths between 6–15 days as intermediate probability, and deaths occurring 16–30 days as having low probability of being causally associated with vaccination.

This clearly underestimates the number of deaths related to injection, but it certainly provides a lower limit. Deaths of people with no (ie zero) underlying health conditions that died very close in time to injection (5 days) were considered a high likelihood of being caused by the injection.

This paper shows high likelihood rates of death (0.34/100,000) and intermediate likelihood rate (0.98/100,000) per unique vaccine recipient. Using top level figures for Australia Dr McLindon estimated we should expect at least 50 deaths with a high likelihood relationship to vaccination and 165 deaths intermediate likelihood related to vaccination. So clearly the TGA knows that more deaths are expected. But they do not want to create “hesitancy”.

The TGA have clearly failed in providing the service they are chartered to provide to the Australian public.

Dr McCann in her talk raised another point I had not thought about before. The majority of deaths from COVID in Australia are of vaccinated people. That doesn’t prove vaccines are less effective than not being vaccinated because of our highly vaccinated population. However, given that the vaccines are supposed to stop infection, severe disease and death, the question has to be asked was the vaccine a contributing factor to death from COVID? I think the term she used was Long VAEDs (Vaccine Associated Enhanced Disease).

It makes sense, people are given a therapy that is designed to stop that disease and then a large proportion of the people dying of that disease have received that therapy. Something is not right.

Looking up Dr McCann in a web search finds articles about her, previous to COVID. This one is about the efforts of her and her practice team after a cyclone in Queensland in 2017.
