This is a short update on my previous article from a few days ago.
I had come up with a number for the cumulative excess mortality in Australia and the number seemed a bit large as I thought about it afterwards.
I had used a simple linear fit for the cumulative excess mortality in the “normal” times and extended that as a baseline. We assume that everything was “normal” prior to March 2021. I noted that it wasn’t a perfect fit as there was a bowl shape to the excess calculated in the normal times. This suggested I needed to do a more complicated fit. I did that and used a second order term and that seems to provide a pretty good fit. The result is below.
COVID Deaths
The most recent ABS report on the COVID deaths is found here for up to the end of July 2023. ABS Summary:
19,510 deaths where people died with or from COVID-19 that occurred by 31 July 2023 have been registered and received by the ABS.
The underlying cause of death for 15,460 (79.2%) of these people was COVID-19.
There were a further 4,050 people who died of other causes (e.g. cancer) but COVID-19 contributed to their death.
So, in Australia there were approximately 15,000 deaths, from or with COVID, up till end of July 2023. A further 4,000 have COVID linked but typically had cancer also as a cause of death.
So, if our estimate of the total excess deaths is accurate (and it seems so) then over half of the excess deaths, approximately 39,000 till end of July 2023 in the graph above, that have occurred in Australia are not accounted for by COVID. However the approved narrative is that all these other excess deaths are still somehow related to COVID.
The ABS report provides a monthly breakdown of the COVID deaths in Australia.
There was very little COVID in Australia before 2022. The Delta wave snuck in with vaccinated travelers around September 2021.
If you look at the cumulative excess curve, by October 2021 the excess is the same level as the peak from the bad influenza season of 2017. There had only been about four hundred COVID deaths by then in 2021 and the cumulative excess should have started turning downwards.
By the end of 2021 the cumulative excess is beyond anything seen in recent history. For the whole of 2021 there was a total of 1,353 COVID deaths. That number is too small to account for the excess seen. This therefore makes the argument that all the non-COVID excess deaths are somehow related to COVID after-effects look very shaky. There was very little COVID in the community prior to 2022.
Another reason provided for non-COVID excess deaths is that some excess deaths were due to people not attending medical appointments and disease diagnosis being missed. That was mainly in 2020 when there were harsh lockdowns in Australia and many people were terrified to leave the house. That argument, as an explanation for unexplained excess in 2023, is wearing a little thin at the end of 2023.
So what are other possible reasons?
More and more evidence is mounting against the novel therapies introduced in Australia in March 2021.
There’s one other factor I consider. What if there is an underlying breakdown of the health system that is meant to look after those with illness?
I randomly came across this short interview which is worth watching. You may remember Rob Roos is the Dutch member of the European parliament who nailed the Pfizer representative in a hearing to demonstrate that there was no evidence of vaccines providing any protection against transmission of the virus. The famous “Please say it Clearly” question and “Speed of Science” response. Avi from Rebel news interviews him here at the recent ARC conference.
Apparently, Rob Roos is an Electrical Engineer, who had worked for 30 years before becoming a politician. Something tho think about. Avi gives a good interview and allows Roos to talk about his background and other concerns he has.
So by the ABS’s own numbers 9-10 times more people died of/ with covid after vaccination and with a “ milder” version of the virus? That worked well didn’t it! So many who caught the virus after vaccination exclaimed how they were glad they were vaccinated cos it might have been worse .... reality is yes it could well have been but not in the way they imagined.
"By the end of 2021?" ........ the cumulative excess is beyond anything seen in recent history...
