Thank you for all your hard work, Andrew, you really are amazing. Is there a way I can chip in to your new project with a donation (other than ongoing subscription)? is there a donation tab?
Hi Alison, I still have to work out the subscriptions on substack, and will set it up by next post. I agree it's hard to do monthly subscriptions and one method off is helpful. There are so many things that need our support at the moment.
Great interview with Dr John and thanks for highlighting what was going on.
Oh goodness thank you Andrew, and by the way I meant to tell you that you got a great compliment by Professor Robert Clancy at Good Knights who said words to the effect that you were the best statistician
Appreciate your sensible translations. The political cadre in this country successfully rotted away the last of my capacity to listen to them
The meanness and senselessness is too debasing and depraved of late, and I feel as if watching it now means consenting to their new (unbearable) status quo.
I've been turning to Bible quotes and proverbs more often as there's ample context for them today.
I like the one you quote. Alas, four years in giving them knowledge will not give us justice nor access to due process.
Here's a personal anecdote. When I had to write to the Office of the Chief Health Officer requesting direction on the extended definition of 'financial services,' specially relative to 'essential worker,' I did not expect the CHO's knowledge to be forthcoming. So I shared some of my knowledge, as a suggestion, because the lack of clear definition meant problems for CHO and for anyone who the CHOs definition might apply to.
My knowledge, gifted as it were, was thrown into the bin. That was an email.
I know of countless others whose letters got posted back to them as RTS, phone calls never answered, voicemails, emails and letters not responded to.
We made it easier for them to reject our 'gifts' and I assume there won't be any acceptance unless forced. Mandated, if you will.

Robert is a very gracious fellow. We have a lot to learn from him as one of the world leading immunologists.
